How it works
Our new construction & remodeling process
For new construction and remodels we use premium products from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, and PPG, selecting the right primer and finish for each surface, from high-build drywall primers on fresh gypsum to durable, washable wall and trim coatings that hold up to move-in day and years of family life. Proper priming of new drywall and bare trim is what keeps colors true and prevents flashing, so we never skip that step to save time.
Plan & sequence with your build timeline
We meet with you or your builder on-site for a free estimate, review the spec sheet and color selections, and slot our crews into the construction schedule so paint happens at the right stage, not the wrong one.
Surface prep on new and remodeled areas
New drywall gets primed, seams and fastener heads are checked, trim is caulked and nail holes filled, and adjacent flooring, fixtures, and cabinetry are masked and protected before any paint goes on.
Prime and apply finish coats
We prime bare surfaces for proper adhesion, then roll and brush full finish coats on walls, ceilings, and trim in the sheens you have chosen, working room by room so other trades can keep progressing.
Coordinate around other trades
On active job sites we sequence with electricians, flooring installers, and cabinet crews to avoid rework, scheduling trim and final coats after the dustier phases are done.
Punch-list, touch-up & final walkthrough
Before move-in we walk the home with you, address dings and scuffs from later construction, finish the punch list, and leave the home clean and ready to live in.
